Digital media is rapidly changing Canada's business, education, and cultural sectors. With new developments in electronic communication, information is being exchanged through faster channels, and in more collaborative ways.

Businesses and institutions need to adapt to the pace of these innovations, and have a pronounced need for people with the ability to understand, manage, and develop new communication tools.

The Interactive Multimedia program ay Holland College provides motivated and experienced students with the opportunity to learn communications technologies in an atmosphere that is both practical and creative.

Through intensive, formal instruction, students learn to produce user-driven interactive products that integrate multiple media elements (text, graphics, animation, sound and video) for delivery via the Web and DVD.

In addition, student learn and apply these three core skill sets— technical production, interface design, and project management— to produce complete information solutions for commercial or institutional clients.

In this accelerated, nine-month advanced diploma, learners prepare to take leadership roles in a
knowledge-based workplace.
